In Emergency Medical Center in KDH, about 20 medical staff, including specialists in the Department of Emergency Medicine devote themselves to saving emergency patients 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. As the representative emergency medical center in the region, the Center has 22 beds and divides the space into the Critical Case Zone and the Pediatric Zone to protect patients and their parents. As such, the Center secures a safe environment for emergency medical treatment. Moreover, the Center has 7 quarantine treatment rooms (negative pressure isolation rooms) to diagnose and treat epidemics. The Center provides the best emergency medical treatment with a wide range of the latest treatment systems.
In particular, the Emergency Medical Center acquired Class 1 in all categories, labor, equipment, and facility, in the regional emergency medical center conducted annually. The Center provides the best diagnosis and treatment services through close cooperation with the Cardiovascular System Center and the Cerebrovascular System Center. In addition, the Center operates the brain saver system, sending the patient information in advance when transferring emergency patients with s stroke along with a 119 rescue team and firefighters.
