Medical institution transplanting multiple internal organs with a success rate of over 95%
The Intestinal Organ Transplant Center in KDH transplants internal organs from donors who are declared brain-dead to patients with liver or kidney diseases, which cannot be cured by internal medicine, enabling them to have new life. The Center completed 520 kidney transplants, 110 liver transplants, and 12 kidney and pancreas transplants with the intestinal organ with a success rate of over 95%.

Comprising the Department of Gastroenterology, the Department of Nephrology, the Department of Urology, the Department of Plastic Surgery, the Department of Anesthesia and Pain Medicine and the Department of Laboratory Medicine, as well as the Department of Surgery and intestinal organ transplant coordinators, the team is the great pride of KDH. Moreover, the team delivers hope for a new life to patients who can’t afford the expensive surgery due to economic difficulty by connecting external support and medical charities.
