The Department of Plastic Surgery is the field that addresses damaged functions due to congenital deformities or acquired deformities on the surface of a body and improves the appearance to an aesthetically beautiful shape. It is divided into ‘reconstructive plastic surgery’ and ‘cosmetic surgery’.

The Department of Plastic Surgery in KDH is a training and education institution, producing leading specialists in plastic surgery, now working in their own clinics and general hospitals in Korea and abroad for about 30 years.

In particular, the Department of Plastic Surgery made great achievements in surgical operations, rejoining hands or feet, and reconstructive surgery for the head and neck using the best microsurgery skills in Korea. The Department of Plastic Surgery expands the applications of its microsurgery to breast reconstruction and reconstructive surgery for sexual minorities.

The professors, experienced in professional cosmetic surgery in their private clinics, provide professional cosmetic surgery diagnosis services in a safe and advanced environment in the university hospital.
