The Department of Pulmonology/Allergy & Clinical Immunology in KDH treats infectious diseases, including pneumonia, pulmonary tuberculosis, COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), and airway diseases, including bronchiectasis, pleural diseases, mediastinal diseases, pneumonitis, and lung cancer, as well as a wide range of allergic diseases, including allergic rhinitis and bronchial asthma and allergic diseases.

KDH has been listed as the ‘Good Hospital in Asthma and COPD Treatment’ for 3 consecutive years by the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service (HIRA) that evaluates medical institutions annually. Special laboratories, including the Bronchoscopy, Pulmonary Function Laboratory, and the Allergy Laboratory, perform bronchoscopies, basic pulmonary function tests, a variety of bronchial challenge tests, and allergic skin reaction tests to diagnose the diseases above.
